InfinitePay Reaches 100% of Brazilian Territory
CloudWalk's financial services platform consolidates its mission to democratize the financial market, with a presence in 5,570 municipalities in Brazil
São Paulo, January 2024 – With just over 1,500 residents, Barra do Rio Azul, in the countryside of Rio Grande do Sul, is the last Brazilian municipality to adopt solutions from InfinitePay, the financial services platform by the Brazilian fintech CloudWalk. By reaching this small town, the company has achieved 100% national coverage in less than five years.
InfinitePay, focused on small and medium-sized businesses, offers a financial ecosystem with payment solutions, loans, accounts, cards, and business management tools. In 2023, the company grew its client base from 300,000 to 1.1 million.
Luis Silva, CEO of CloudWalk, highlighted the importance of providing innovative services to all regions of the country: “Our goal is to democratize access to quality financial solutions, ensuring that entrepreneurs across Brazil can use the best tools to grow their businesses.”
The strategy to reach customers in all 5,570 Brazilian municipalities was initiated in late 2023 by the company’s growth team. Upon realizing that there were only a few regions left to complete the map, the InfinitePay team worked diligently to visit these cities and attract new clients. The final milestone was achieved when a mechanic shop in Barra do Rio Azul (RS) adopted InfinitePay as its payment platform.
For Luis, the rapid adoption of new technologies demonstrates how Brazilian entrepreneurs, regardless of their location, recognize the value that innovation can bring to their businesses. “Brazilians are among the world’s biggest consumers of technology. We lead in the use of social networks and various types of apps,” he says. “Entrepreneurs reflect this characteristic. When they see an innovation that impresses them, not only do they adopt it, but they also make sure to share the benefits with others. The power of word of mouth helped us reach 100% of Brazil’s cities,” he concludes.
